Dear Friends & Clients,

Since returning to work on June 15, we have been busy catching up with caring for our much-loved clients.

Despite the lockdown situation, we are still able to be open as a governed health profession-of which we are deeply appreciative!! As a reminder:

Each confirmation e-mail has a questionnaire that you must complete before arriving at the clinic.
We ask that you have your mask on before coming through the door at the clinic. All of us here have complete mouth and nose covering masks.
The clinic door will be locked so please try to be right on time – not early or late – so one of us can let you in.
We will then take your forehead temperature. If it is within normal range we will proceed with your treatment.
You will then be taken into a thoroughly cleaned and sterilized Treatment Room to enjoy one of our outstanding treatments.

For those of you who are interested we do have a huge playlist of Holiday Tunes available for your listening pleasure.

We have been doing more couples treatments during Covid. Apparently some of you are not getting enough of your significant other at home!! Actually all kidding aside-this is a lovely thing to do together: getting relaxed and taking some pleasurable, fun time after, is something we definitely encourage!

EVENTS:
We have missed all of our normal events – our streetfests, Santa Parade, and 'Tis the Season late shopping nights, and we have just passed "Small Business Saturday". We encourage you to check our local shops first, as your support is extremely important for our survival this year!  Many of our local businesses are online and will arrange delivery if needed. Also a reminder if you are purging before you purchase more gifts, our neighbours at Pegasus are happy to accept donations. The current difference is that you need to make an appointment ahead of time to drop items off.

YOUR BENEFITS:
Many of you will have benefits to use up given that we were closed for such a long time this year. As a reminder we sell packages of five and ten treatments that you can share with family members. With "The Five" you get a 5% discount and with "The Ten" you get a 10% discount-great value!

GIFT CERTIFICATES:
We have gift certificates available in any denomination you would like. We can do all of this virtually or leave a hard copy in our external mailbox for your pick up.

We would like to share this lovely testimonial from Heidi Tsao.

HOLIDAY HOURS:
We will have therapists available through the holiday time.  If you want a specific time it's always advisable to book well ahead.

SAYING GOODBYE:
We are very sad to say goodbye to Sandy's Cuisine & Café, Hakim Optical, The Art of Cheese, Cobalt Gallery and others. More than ever now our local businesses need your support. When you're buying gifts for loved ones please first think of a small business in our neighbourhood.  #BestNeighbourhoodInToronto #ShopLocal #KRVLocalLove

QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
"In the face of adversity, we have a choice.
We can be bitter, or we can be better.
Those words are my North Star."
~ Caryn Sullivan

T’was a month before Christmas,
And all through the town,
People wore masks,
That covered their frown.

The frown had begun
Way back in the Spring,
When a global pandemic
Changed everything.

They called it corona,
But unlike the beer,
It didn’t bring good times,
It didn’t bring cheer.

Contagious and deadly,
This virus spread fast,
Like a wildfire that starts
When fueled by gas.

Airplanes were grounded,
Travel was banned.
Borders were closed
Across air, sea and land.

As the world entered lockdown
To flatten the curve,
The economy halted,
And folks lost their nerve.

From March to July
We rode the first wave,
People stayed home,
They tried to behave.

When summer emerged
The lockdown was lifted.
But away from caution,
Many folks drifted.

Now it’s November
And cases are spiking,
Wave two has arrived,
Much to our disliking.

Frontline workers,
Doctors and nurses,
Try to save people,
From riding in hearses.

This virus is awful,
This COVID-19.
There isn’t a cure.
There is no vaccine.

It’s true that this year
Has had sadness a plenty,
We’ll never forget
The year 2020.

And just ‘round the corner -
The holiday season,
But why be merry?
Is there even one reason?

To decorate the house
And put up the tree,
When no one will see it,
No-one but me.

But outside my window
The snow gently falls,
And I think to myself,
Let’s deck the halls!

So, I gather the ribbon,
The garland and bows,
As I play those old carols,
My happiness grows.

Christmas ain’t cancelled
And neither is hope.
If we lean on each other,
I know we can cope.
🥰
